GLONASS equipment is installed in 90% of public transport in the Republic of Bashkortostan, the Head of Regional Administration of State Supervision of Road Transport, the Federal Service for Supervision of Transport, Sergei Merezhko.

"The supervision check shows that all private entrepreneurs comply with the Transportation Law in terms of passenger transport management. The only issue is whether the carriers honestly perform their duties," regional media cite S. Merezhko.

It is reported that the use of GLONASS in transport of Bashkortostan allows improving the passenger service quality, reducing bus and trolleybus delay time.
