The Moscow Region will purchase over 1,500 LIAZ passenger buses with GLONASS devices and video surveillance systems over the next three years.

“LIAZ and Mostransavto have signed a supply contract. The amount of the contract is over 9 billion rubles.  The supplies will be made by stages over three years: In 2014 - 455 buses, in 2015 - 593 buses, in 2016 - 567 buses. The buses are equipped with digital tachographs and GLONASS navigation systems," the regional media reported.

It is reported that the busload is between 75 and 114 people depending on its version.  At the moment the Moscow Region is using over 5,000 buses, among which 50% are LIAZ and GOLAZ buses.
