Flegontov Alexander
Flegontov Alexander V. born June 15, 1954, in the Volokolamsk district, Moscow region. In 1977 he graduated with a degree in MIIGAiK optoelectronic devices, 1977-1979gg — Engineer Krasnogorsk mechanical plant, 1979-1980gg — Design Engineer Institute of Spectroscopy, USSR Academy of Sciences, 1980-2009 — Served in the 29th Research Institute of the Russian Defense Ministry in various positions. In 1993 he defended his thesis in 2002 — a doctoral thesis. Professor, member of the Academy of Military Sciences, a retired colonel. From 2009 to present — Director of Research Ltd. “TeleProvodnik.” Area of activity — digital cartography and land navigation.

Cartographic software of navigation is a key component in addressing the challenges of planning and organization multimodal and international transport. The lack of a unified regulatory framework in the field of nautical charts led to a glut of the market map products recommended by the manufacturer for use in transport logistics. Due to the inconsistency of their internal representation is impossible to effectively implement information interaction of vehicle controls in developed and introduced information and navigation systems, management of transport logistics. The solution to this problem lies in the development of decision “Navigation Codex”, which unified the basic approaches to the development and use of navigation maps dual purpose.
