Kolosov Dmitry
Graduated from Moscow State University in 1987, with a Diploma in Astronomy. Worked at Sternberg State Astronomical Institute as an engineer and junior research fellow. In 1992 decided to change career path and became a programmer.
In 1996 joined Javad Positioning Systems, where soon headed the team working on Pinnacle, the company’s flagship software.
With the acquisition of JPS by Topcon and establishment of Topcon Positioning Systems, worked as a Senior Software Engineer. In 2004, Mr. Kolosov became the Director of Software Development in Topcon Technology Center in Moscow; since 2008, he is the Director of Global Application Software Development, overseeing teams in Topcon offices in Moscow, the USA, Europe and Australia. At the same time, he continues to manage the development of TopNET — Topcon’s software for remote control, collection and processing of data from networks of GNSS reference stations.
In 2011, Mr. Kolosov completed a graduate program at Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) with the degree of Master of Science in Engineering and Management.
